    Re: Fond Disneyland memories

I had a really horrible experience at WDW in 1980 or 1981, I can't remember exactly and won't get into the details of why it was so bad. Anyway I never went back. I lived in Michigan then, but live in N. Cal now. When my son turned 3 my wife and I took the kids to DL and I had a great time. We try to go back at least once a year now. 1 of the things I enjoy most is having a great time with my family, but I also love "Escaping the real world to enter a world of fantasy", but mostly being there with the family and enjoying are time together in such a special place.

I love the electric parade. It's the only parade I will watch, but only once or twice a year. I watched it with my parants last year and after it was over my fatehr siad my face lit up just like it id when I was a child...LOL...the only memory iI have from watching it when i was a child was pete's dragon (elliot). The movie was kinda of new and they made him dissapear by turning all his lights off. Do they still do that? I didn't see it the last two times...the only two times I've seen it in DCA.

I am pretty sure that if elliot is not in the parade these days, it has to do with one of two things:

    Eisner being cheap
    or
    DCA being built to cheap
