    Question Bubble Ladies

I was just curious to find out how many micechatters knew about the Bubble Ladies, and what they do for the CMs.

I was going to leave my opinion out of this thread, but I can't.

My wife and I love those Ladies for what they do for the CMs.

    Re: Bubble Ladies

As a CM, let me just say that the Bubble Ladies are actually thought of very fondly by CM's. The concept of an AP visiting the park so much that they would be known on sight, and then on top of that passing out little items to CM's they interact with would normally get a bit creepy or tiring, but the Bubble Ladies are different.

They're unique to be sure, but they are very sweet and a fun little happening during the day.

The Bubble ladies are these two elderly nice ladis who wear pastel color clothes handing out little bottles of bubbles, same as the ones JudiMouse hands out with a tag with random theme phrases on them with "Love, Bubble Ladies." Very cute!

Are they the twins that go to the dancing at Carnation Plaza Gardens on Saturday nights?

Anyone have pics of the Bubble Ladies? I've never heard of them, but I'm sure I've probably seen them at one point or another.
Mom, remember, it's not what a person is like on the outside that counts,
it's what they are like in their HEART!

    Re: Bubble Ladies

I ran into them in the closing days of the Disney Gallery. They said that they were looking forward to attending Bat Day in their pastels. We traded my wish pennies for their bubbles.
Which reminds me. A CM saw me handing out my pennies and gave me a YOAMD Tinkerbell pin set. Made my week!

    Re: Bubble Ladies

This made me think of when my kids were younger...I would always travel with a bottle of bubbles in my bag and we would have "random bubblings" in which we would try to hide and then just blow bubbles. It was so much fun! On one trip to Disneyland we hid kind of behind the bushes at the Plaza Inn and blew the bubbles onto the walk way. People approached with frowns but left laughing and smiling...too much fun!! And it taught my kids to make someone elses day special.

Now go have a "random bubbling"

    Re: Bubble Ladies

OK... On Jungle I got in sooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much trouble with a certain Manager because of an incident stemming from them. It wasn't their fault, they just gave me bubbles and giving me anything to play with is usually a bad idea. We have an old fan that we use in the Shipping Office to keep us cool on the dock. That fan blows pretty good. That fan made the perfect "Bubble Machine Gun" and FILLED the exit with bubbles... until a certain Manager walked up!

On the bright side seeing so many kids smiling and laughing and chasing the bubbles made it all worth it!

Those 2 (sometimes 3 when she brings her daughter) know a lot of us CM's by name, and no not just the tag. They would laugh when we wore someone else's tag to throw them off. I also ran into them when I was in the park with my family... they gave my little ones each a bottle, then gave my wife and I extra bottles!
