    Tour Questions

Has anyone taken the Discover the Magic tour, and is it too young for 10 1/2 year old boys?

And the Walk in Walts Footsteps tour....was planning to finally take that this next trip, but I see you now eat lunch on Main Street. Didn't you used to eat on the terrace at Club 33? Or has that changed because they closed the gallery? Should have done it last time.....
Counting the minutes......next trip ??????!!!! (to far away!!!)

    Re: Tour Questions

I really enjoyed the WIWF tour. If you can, try to do it on a weekday so you will have a smaller tour group. We had a tour group of four, and it was perfect. I don't think the tours would be as enjoyable with 15 people (hard to hear, slow pokes etc.). Ask for Karen's tour if you do it. We did eat on the terrace patio inside the gallery, but I guess they have moved it?(and removed the Walt's Chili from the menu I have heard? which is a bummer because it was good!).

My dd and I took the WIWF tour this past January. We had a terrific tour guide! Being DL geeks, we really enjoyed the tour. It started an hour before the park opened on a non EE day. There was a CM from the tour group manning a gate to allow those with tour tickets to get inside. Our lunch was in the Gallery patio. Fun!

    Re: Tour Questions

I took the Walk in Walt Footsteps Tour this past July, and I thought it was great. Although we only had 3 people in our tour, I don't think the difficulty hearing would be a problem, since you are given personal headsets to use. We took the tour while the gallery was still open, and ate in the tour guide patio by the entrance to the tours. Still a very secluded place and worth eating there. We had a lot of fun, and the tour guide wound up staying with us and talking until right before she had to go home! It was a great tour and well worth taking.
