I've also eaten at other Disney breakfasts.... Riverbelle, Bouden Bakery, Blue Ribbon Bakery....
Yeah, Denny's is better and cheaper.
sorry to burst everyone's bubble but if u look at the commercial you can clearly see the little girl is holding a SIX FLAGS map
pshhh i guess
I kinda figured them for a 6 flags park. They say "biggest theme park", not most visited. Also, the map... it's not a Disney map, though I suppose that could be a prop.
But yeah, I kinda guessed it was one of the 6 flags parks in Texas or something.
Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe...
She's clearly holding a theme park map that isn't a Disneyland map.... Using a Disneyland map would truely get them into trouble.Originally Posted by Treat
Still, it is Disneyland they are talking about. HAS to be!
Yeah, and they never said which theme park, so disney can't get mad... Why do people always complain about tiny things like this...
Six flags is one of the biggest theme parks, how many do they have around the USA?
I've been to all 3 Six Flags parks in Texas. None of them have a Denny's right across the street. None of them have little kids stopping in to plan their day on their way into the park.Originally Posted by Morrigoon
Six Flags are kind of huge, and you can be across the street in four different directions. I know that we used to go to Denny's before Disneyland, because the meals were huge and we could split them. My mom was cheap, err, cost-effective that way.

Why are SO many commercials so stupid... Simple. People like to feel smart, and seeing a dumb commercial makes you feel smart and you them sub-consciously equate the product with good feelings.
Think about it. How many Sonic commercials have been made with those 2 really stupid guys? Dozens at least. What is the commercial saying? Stupid people eat at Soinc? NO. The commercial is making the feeling "You're smart." and attaching it to the name Sonic.
SO, what is the point of the Denny's commercial? I'm not sure. I'm not sure if they're trying to get me to eat at the Denny's across the street from Disneyland, or if they're trying to stick the sub-conscious suggestion into my brain to attach the Denny's name to my love of Disneyland.
I bet you all theme parks are arguing amonst themselves claiming its them. Either way, free advertisement for any of them and I'm sure they're all happy they don't have to spend money now for a commercial.
I think the best place to get breakfast across from DL is Mimi's...
And yes, there is a Denny's accross the street from Disneyland. When I was in Highschool, I would walk there with my friends down Ball road after using the Monorail to get to the hotel. Better prices for a starving student.
The Denny's you all are referring to is located on Katella and West/Walnut Street (or Disney Way). The manger and I have had many conversations and saw each other numerous times at "The Boogie" night club located on Anaheim Blvd. and Katella.
Needless to say I have been drunk at all the above locations and I will do it again.... and have some Moons Over My Hammy or a Grand Slam. Thank you.
It didn't always work like that, it was quite the opposite in the past.Originally Posted by NeverNeverland
Ditto that Mrs.Newseditor44, Denny's is always right near anything that draws a lot of people. Anyone that's been anywhere where they started the day at a Dennys will think wow that was so much fun... let's go do it again and we can start the day by eating at Denny's again!

I'm addicted to Disneyland. Disneyland hobbies are expensive.
If I become a bum people are going to say "Don't give him money, he's just gonna use it on Disneyland."
Disneyland. My Anti-drug.
With all this talk of "off the shelf" and "on the back-burner" it seems the only thing that DCA is really missing is the kitchen sink!
