Smile Will The Temple of the Forbidden Eye become the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull

Just as Pirates of the Carribean became a Movie based on the ride which in turn was based on the movie....

Will the same thing happen to Indy?

Whats to stop it? No one really knows the story of the "Forbidden Eye" except what we can garner from the line-up cue.

I think it would be awsome to connect the movie to the ride and visa-versa.

I will be there next may ---- does anyone know of any plans of events to coincide with the movie?

Nah. However, since the Crystal Skull is ALREADY in Tokyo Disney, I think it would be very easy to tie that attraction in more closely to the movie.

They are going to change the snake bit. They are making it much smaller, changing the color to green and covering it with felt.
the eyes are going to be a bit more googly and it will have arms with flippers attached.
Instead of hissing it's going to say "Hi-ho" whenever you pass.

As was said in another thread; according to TDR_Fan, the Oriental Land Company, the developers of Tokyo Disney, have contracts with Disney protecting their Crystal Skull theme from appearing at other Disney parks. The Crystal Skull ride theme is unique, and will remain unique to Tokyo. The same goes for other original themes at TDS, and with good reason.

So then would it be safe to say that the next Indiana Jones movie is a Disney attraction-based movie?

Fictional Commies are no where near as much fun as fictional NAZIs.* I think it's the neat uniforms and the goose-stepping. Indiana Jones must have NAZIs and snakes, it's a moral imperative!

Wow... I know when it opened they had some stunt guy do some skit with a crystal, not sure if it was a skull or not. Personally I hope they change the name to of the movie to something more impressive. I know a lot of people hated the 3rd one... personally I found it hysterical and in many ways better then the previous ones. Where the first two took themselves extremely serious, the third one had fun! I know this will most likely be it for the time being and hope that they do it right. As to the Attraction... it is based on the movie to begin with, unlike POC which inspired the movie, so I can't see excessive changes. If they take anything out I would prefer the dark tunnel and the rats, bad effect and waste of space.

Various sites/reliable sources. (including the official Indy site) are saying that the Disney sea ride's title will indeed become Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. It sounds reasonable, and I like it. Still, only time will tell.

That's stupid considering the word Temple is a much better suited word for the attraction than Kingdom.
