9-16 Candy Corn Acres Progress & DTD Villain Pumpkins

As of yesterday a bit more seems to be added to Candy Corn Acres today from the photos I’ve seen. So here’s an update of the work as of 9/16.

The windmill is candy corn colored and also has a small candy corn piece and the tail.


The big corn piece from the back. They had a few cast members watching guests so they don’t wander onto the platform.


Now for some of the candy corn varieties, first off: Carrot Style




Tomato Style


Grape/Cactus Style




And so far dominating the largest spread, Corn Style


Over at the Mansion, work on the queue is visible above the construction walls.


And in DTD the World of Disney has villain pumpkins among the windows with the Cinderella window getting the full character treatment.

I'm really digging Candy Corn Acres. It's clever, cute, and very tastefully done.

Kudos to the entertainment department - it looks great! Now, can we get a good replacement for Santa's Beach Blast???

You'll probably see some starting to pop up, if not a lot of it. All of the decor is supposed to be out by Friday the 21st, when HallowenTime officially starts.

These are two pumpkins my husband carved for me a couple years ago..

They are looking nice. It should be interesting to see how the rest of it pans out. I never got to see last years decorations in person and am looking forward to Main Street and Frontierland's decor.
