Transportation from UCLA? (time-sensitive)

Hey, all. So, I'm planning an impromptu trip (how's that for an oxymoron?) to the park for this week, quite possibly tomorrow. For complicated reasons, I need to use public transportation to get from UCLA to the resort, be it shuttle or bus or taxi or whatever. Super Shuttle was recommended to me, but it turns out the fare would cost twice as much as the park ticket. So, does anyone knowledgeable about these things have a suggestion? I'd like to keep the fare reasonably inexpensive and be able to get there in one piece, preferably without spending four hours en route. Is this too much to ask?

(By the way, I don't need transportation back from Disneyland to UCLA--I just need to get to the park.)

I don't know the route but public transportation is available. It will be relatively inexpensive but note that it is going to take you FOREVER to get to the park. Consider that it takes about an hour and from UCLA combined with traffic possibly more.

As for the route I would think public transport to Union Station and then transferring onto the MetroLink to Anaheim, and then OCTA or a taxi from there...

Someone probably has a bettter suggestion, but you better leave no later than 5AM...

I think there is an express bus to LAX from Westwood. Federal Building, perhaps?

From there, Take the Airport Bus to Disneyland.

Two hours, maybe. On a good day. If you don't care about arrival time, I suggest the earliest bus from Westwood (6AM?), followed by the earliest bus to D-Land.

Take the Purple line http://www.mta.net/riding_metro/purp....htm#TopOfPage (picks up at Wilshire/Western) to Union Station. From union station take the Orange County line to the Anaheim station. Take the OCTA bus from the station to Disneyland.

Take the RED line to Union Station. From union station take the Orange County line to the Anaheim station. Take the OCTA bus from the station to Disneyland.

I agree with Sir Clinks, the trains are probably the best way to go (and the quickest since you wont have to deal with traffic except on the bus transfer.

I don't think there will be any public transportation cheaper or faster than my advice:
$4 from Westwood to LAX. 25 minutes (to an hour (extreme traffic), depending on the abilities of the driver). First bus departs at 5AM.
$17 from LAX to Disneyland. Hour, depending on traffic. Get there by 6:30AM for the first bus.

One transfer. Nice cushiony seats. One stop between Westwood and Disneyland.

Thanks for all the suggestions, guys. I really appreciate it! Sediment, I like your idea about taking the bus to LAX and then another from there to Disneyland. I'd think that that should be the easiest way to do it.
