    Exclamation Help Us Mods!!!

Okay, I know I'm not the only one here who feels this way. There are WAY too many Peoplemover threads in this forum.

Someone suggested making a sub-thread for this. Seems like a good idea.

I don't know. Just please do something!!!

    Re: Help Us Mods!!!

I was wondering if we should start a peoplemover thread about why there are so many peoplemover threads?

Yes, but when real information comes along about the ride coming back, only a handful know because it only goes in ONE thread. Oye vey.

    Re: Help Us Mods!!!

That wouldn't help a lot of us who use the "new posts" button instead of going forum to forum.

The best answer would be to cut down on the number of Peoplemover threads started, OR, having similar threads merged.

How about we just cut down on the number of threads started?

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe...

Heheh, way too many Peoplemover threads is a hallmark of Disneyland message boards. We would be laughed out of the Disneyland board community if we went below six Peoplemover threads on the front page at any one time. Sorry.

I did, however, merge the two Peoplemover Replacement Poll threads of the exact same title (save for one misspelling of 'Peioplemover') started by the same member.

Other than that, Peoplemover threads must be left to thrive or wither on the whims and interest of the membership. I've done all that I can do in the face of overwhelming odds.

    Re: Help Us Mods!!!

When I posted this am about a moratorium on People Mover threads I had my tongue implanted in my cheek. The reality is that the empty PM track is arguably the biggest eyesore at the resort and sits there almost as a monument to failures of past DL managment. As such, it's going to be a subject that people have alot to say about.

I don't think a separate forum section for this topic is warranted, I'd hate to see sub forums for all kinds of other popular topics springing up.

Could we just encourage those who have something to say about PM/empty track/Rocket Rods to search previous threads and try to see if they can say what they want to say within those threads insead of starting new ones. I guess that could go for many other subjects as well.

    Peace

    A sub-forum IS too much.

what we need is a thread:

A Poll, What's your favorite People mover thread?

    Re: Help Us Mods!!!

My answer is to sarcastically mock these threads and shame the starter of this threads into using the search function and hope they come to realize that there opinion does not trump the opinions of all those people who have already started a line of thought in one thread.

If we as a community polietly suggest, remind and poke these people hopefully they will become model posters who contribute to already previous created threads.

Sorry, but all moderators are currently boozing themselves silly on an unchartered desert isle. Please leave your post at the tone, and just maybe someone will get back to you.

I was totally joking earlier about the People Mover sub-forum! I guess I forgot to add a smiley!
