    Just curious:

With HMH haveing just opened... is there any new Nightmare Merchandise available?
I've seen, like, 3 or 4 pins but that's about it
I know last year was pretty lame so I was just curious about the 2007 selections ^_^

I hope so. Checking out the park tomorrow, see if there is anything interesting and new.

Re: Haunted Mansion Holiday Merch Question

Like any other Haunted Mansion merchandise, Haunted Mansion Holiday merch is hard to come by... but stores like Le Bat en Rouge are well-stocked in general Nightmare Before Christmas merch.

I would love to buy a HMH shirt!

The merchandise is crap for HMH and I wish they would change it!

I was there last night and I saw nothing new, just the same 'ol crud.

In general the HMH and NBC merch has declined in quality. It used to be novel, now the overuse of the iconic image of Jack's head has become as meaningless as a Mossimo scribble or Nike swoosh.

I really hate Jack's head on everything. It's hard to find a good shirt I'd wear, so I don't bother. I don't want his head right there, you know?

I hope they come up with better merchandise.

The best place for Nightmare Before Christmas shirts is the Disney Store. The Disney Studios collection is awesome. They recently had a wave with NBX shirts of Jack, Oogie, and Sally. If you are lucky your local DS still has some and they are probably on clearance.

Re: Haunted Mansion Holiday Merch Question

Well that's dissapointing. Last year I was told there wasn't much merch because they weren't even sure if they were going to do HMH (which I'm not sure is entirely true) I blame the lack of merch events the past 2 or 3 yrs.

What I really liked was the doombuggies they had the first 5 yrs. basically it was just a doombuggie with a couple characters in it (Jack/Sally, lock/Shock/Barrel, Oggie, Dr Finkelstein, and just Jack). I'm upset cause I have the whole collection but there wasn't even one last year.
Honestly, how hard is it to make a t shirt.

I miss being able to walk around the park in NMBC stuff and have people go "oh right, that's Disney." I also loathe the jack head icon that use to be on everything... at least they changed it up a bit.
Melonballer's right, D-store has some of the best stuff.

Okkay, I'm off my soap box now. I'd love to be posted if anything new shows up (I'll be at the park on the 14th so I technically can check myself)

At least it's not two strategically placed Jack heads...

Re: Haunted Mansion Holiday Merch Question

The Nightmare merchandise at DL has slowed down
dramatically. And quite frankly ALL merchandise at
at DL has gone downhill significantly since the 50th
was over. Nightmare merchandise has really gone
to nothing, since the last HMH special event. At least
during the 1st four years of HMH, the special events
did bring some new merchandise, and a new logo for
t-shirts and such. But with the demise of the special
events for HMH, so went any kind of merchandise for
    Nightmare.

Also, Suncoast Motion Pictures used to carry some
Nightmare merchandise also, but my nearest Suncoast
locations have closed. But as MB just said, the Disney
Stores do have some nightmare merchandise in now.
(Enough with the Nightmare T-shirts, though, ok)
They have a couple of large ceramic candy dishes
with Lock Shock and Barrel, an Oogie Boogie Cookie jar,
A really cool figure with more than a dozen characters
from Nightmare with a small clock ($99), and a cool
looking larger figure of Jack leaning up against a pillar ($70)

I saw a kid yesterday with a huge Jack-dressed-as-Sandy-Claws stuffed animal/doll. I hadn't seen it before...perhaps I might have missed it in past years, but I swear that I've never seen it before, and it was pretty cool.

My two favorite pieces of Nightmare merch have got to be the Nightmare two-color bowlingish shirt and the leather jacket. I wish either came in 3X, because I'd buy them in a heartbeat.

I was at the park on Friday and saw this item. It is really nice but the cost (according to the CM I asked) $70.00.

Well with the current state of Merch. You should be able to get Jack Dressed as Capt. Jack riding in a big yellow Submarine
