Harrison Ford at the Main Gate

Today as I left the park about 12:45 in the afternoon, I noticed a guest relations tour guide walking out with a child and two adults. Having not seen too many tour guides with so few people and walking out the front gate, I took a second look at the people walking out.

That is when I realized it was Harrison Ford. Since he is without makeup and was a bit scruffy, I asked him and he said he was, and asked me how I was doing. Then I went off while they headed for DCA. I didn't even bother to look to see who the woman and child were that he was with.

Anyone else see him in the park today (besides on Indy)?

I saw little 6" versions of him at the Indiana Jones Outpost. They were very nice.

you mean calista flockheart(SP) I believe. and she does have an adopted son but can't remember his name.

mcow1 and I saw him this morning as we were coming out of the Haunted Mansion. I didn't even notice who was with him, except the plaid. We thought he looked pretty good. Over the years we've seen a lot of celebrities out there and I usually don't think of it as a big deal but I was impressed to see the man who was Han Solo and Indiana Jones.

They must still be filming at Downey Studios and he had a day off. Must be weird for him to go on the Indiana Jones Adventure. If he goes on it, that is.

Wow awesome, he sounds pretty cool. I'm surprised he has time to go to Disneyland while filming the new Indy.

I did start pondering if he went on the Indy ride. I suppose I could have asked, but I sort of figure that he gets barraged by people when he goes places and maybe he might like some privacy. I am not "famous" in the sense he is, but I am a teacher and I know that there are many times where I am somewhere just trying to relax and I get students coming up to me which makes me less relaxed because I feel like I must put on a bit of a happy face whether I feel like it or not. So this begs the question- would a star rather you sort of ignore them or would they like you to strike up a conversation?

Of course I ponder much of this after having the chance to have asked if he likes the Indy ride.

My wife (who was in Texas this morning) said that the lady he was with was probably Flockhart (of whom I am not a fan necessarily) which is funny because I didn't even notice her or even think to check. I was too enthralled with "Bob Falfa" of American Graffitti.
