Morning Walk when staying at the GCH?

Hey guys! I might be staying at the GCH over the Christmas holiday, so I was wondering if they still offer guests a morning walk through of DCA before it opens. They did last year, but I didn't go. I just recently started doing workouts in the morning and thought this might be a nice easy going one to start off my day. Anyone know if they still have it? And has anyone ever done it before? What it is like? Also, I'm assuming there is a mini gym in the hotel...anyone know where it is? Who knows though, I might just take the weekend off, it is a holiday. Thanks!

It was happening in April when we were there. We stay every year in December for Christmas and we always do that morning walk. You walk, briskly, through the CA Adventure park before opening. Nice start to the day! There is a work out room next to the pool area. Enjoy!

Thanks for the info pirateslife4me (I love your name by the way)! I hope I end up staying there so I can take advantage of that! Last year during Christmas it was so pretty! Ah well, if it's not GCH, it'll probably be DLH so it's a win win either way!

    That sounds like fun!

One thing that I like to do is take either a late evening or an early morning (or both!) walk through the Hotel grounds and/or DTD.

I'm usually by myself, since the kids (and wife) are still sleeping. But that's OK w/me!

Just one of the many benefits of staying at the Resort.

    Enjoy!

Good idea Pirate Mickey. I actually was wondering if I could do a quick walk through early morning. I wasn't sure what the policy was on that, but I figured it was probably fine. Yay, I'm excited! Only 3 months to go!

When I worked there a week ago it was still happening. Also, the small work out room is located outside by the Pool Area next to the Mandera Spa.

stayed for the actual 50th birthday . Never heard about that.
    But then again
it was the 50th, the hotel was sold out a year in advance
so they weren't really giving anything that summer.
