Anything in 1955 would you like to have done?

I think that today's Disneyland is "light-years" ahead of 1955, but with all the pictures of that original park, I do miss being there.

I have to say that I would have liked to have ridden the Stagecoach. I know that it was a rough ride, but I have never ridden in a stagecoach-- probably never will.

What would you liked to have ridden or seen?

hhmm...that's a hard one to answer for me...I would probably say that there isn't one ride I would have wanted to ride in 1955...just being there would be the greatest thrill for me...knowing what we know now that is...

If you watch the video of the opening day at Disneyland, they were pretty unorganized. They looked like they were having fun, but they were "winging it" for sure.

That said, I would like to ride the train with Walt Disney. I have never driven Autopia, when I visited WDW in Florida. So some time during my first visit to Disneyland, I want to drive one of those little cars.

I was there in 1955. The memories are quite dim... I was only 5 years old at the time... but I do remember having my picture taken while on the Main St. horsedrawn fire wagon... driving the Midget Autopia and wanting to ride the Stage Coach. I also remember buy a bag of Fritos from The Frito Kid.

Like everyone, I'm sure... I would love to have met Walt also.

Riding the stagecoach would have been really cool. Going through the "desert" and seeing the "Indians" would have been the best. Even with all the dust and soreness to come later.

Of course, meeting Walt would have been the ultimate; getting a chance to talk to him and congratulate him on realizing his dream.
