Do DCA attractions even count?
All your dreams can come true if you have the courage to pursue them. - Walt Disney
Big Thunder Ranch area,Mr Lincoln.
Unfortunately I think Lincoln will be there soon. In addition HISTA needs to go that route, and hopefully the Princess Fantasy Faire.
A little piece of heaven
I hope that Fantasy Faire goes to Yesterland soon. But before that, I think Mr. Lincoln i Disneyland and Golden Dreams in DCA.
Innoventions, Maliboomer, Jumpin Jellyfish, Mulholland Madness, Big Thunder Ranch. I wouldn't lose sleep if Winnie the Pooh went to Yesterland. Hey, what about things that might LEAVE Yesterland? Phantom Boats anyone?![]()
I'll tell you what I REALLY think is going into yesterland... not what I HOPE is going into yesterland.
Disneyland:
- Mr. Lincoln (just like Rocket Rods did)
- Carnation Gardens
- Snow White dark ride
DCA:
- Paradise Pier Bay (draining 2008)
- Sunshine Plaza
- Golden Dreams
- Paradise Pier (once TSM! opens)
I am a rabid Disney fan. Possible future Imagineer (already designing rides for it)... I've only been to Disneyland. I'm hoping to go to Disney World this summer for the first time, and TDR might be possible in 3 years.
First DL trip - 1997
First WDW trip - N/A
# of Times I've Been on Tower of Terror (DCA): 68
# of Times I've Been on Finding Nemo Subs:
Argonaut - 1
Sea Farer - 1
Nope, it's going in for extensive refurb and touch-up--quite the opposite--thanks to the efforts of Tony Baxter. Turn that frown upside down!Snow White dark ride
Innoventions, Winnie the Pooh, and...don't kill me...BLAB would all make nice additions to Yesterland. I think the first is a definite possibility--in fact, it's an eventual probability. Maybe after the Microsoft paperwork expires in 2010. Winnie the Pooh probably won't vacate the premises for a while, unfortunately. I do have hopes that this hunny-flavored LSD trip will find a more appropriate home in...I dunno, Vegas or something. Scary stuff, man...
And BLAB. Sigh. I know there are a lot of people who like it here, and I certainly don't hate the ride. It's entertaining enough. The interactivity is nice; the fact there's something there in the first place is nice, after all those years of limited use. But...it's prime Tomorrowland real estate. A real Tomorrowland dark ride would do so well right there. One in the tradition of Pirates and the Haunted Mansion, I mean, or maybe even Indy...not cheaper versions of the Fantasyland dark rides. Again, I doubt this'll happen any time soon, but I'd imagine/hope this ride will be gone long before the likes of, say, Space Mountain or the Haunted Mansion or Indy or a whole slew of older yet...well, better attractions.
Mr. Lincoln might not return. I dunno. I think they'll have to find something to do with the space besides the 50th anniversary special, though. They can't keep that forever.
Has Tom Sawyer Island arrived there yet?
