Tony Baxters - Knotts Scary Farm.... Rumors Start Your Engines

I went to knott's scary farm last night....representing disneyland...sporting my disney sweater..... and ran past an entourage of people and noticed Tony Baxter.... It was soo wierd to see him at Knott's..... anyways he was with what looked like a crowd of family members and friends.... i think...

could this mean a scary disneyland nights in our future.... curious

also, i think i have problems.... i noticed one of the actors in the "hanging" show was a castmember from frontierland... i think he is the mayor or something......

quite a few of the cast members from Disneyland "moonlight" at Knott's during the Halloween season.

Tony Baxter is a BIG Knott's Haunt fan, I have seen him there many times, I think this is the second visit for him this year.

I am pretty sure he is there to have a good time and enjoy the park, and is NOT "Scouting" for Disney.

Disneyland makes too much money on the main park, there is no easy way for them to close areas and the park early. And Disney has decided to make DCA (which could close early and has easier access to backstage areas to build mazes) family friendly. A "Scary" Disney Halloween just isn't going to happen.

As for CM's, there are PLENTY of Disney CM's that work Haunt, and some work both parks year round. I can think of at least 30 that I know of that work Haunt that are also CM's. What is wrong with that????

it was good times last night.... i thought it was funny or some secret thing..... knowing disney castmembers and recognizing them...lol

Yeah, Tony's there quite a bit - and there are people from ALL professions that work as monsters for Haunt- even some that make 6 figure salaries, who come in for the season, because of the fun of scaring people.

Speaking of Knott's anyone notice they're trying to cash in on the Pirate theme! That made me laugh... looks like we can simply call the island Knott's Island now!

knotts is really crowded to me..... seems like they just say.... oh we can fit a ride there and plop it in there....some areas seem to me like a ride graveyard....

You might see DCA go for the scare factor next year as the bulldozers move in, and MHT will more than likely head to Disneyland because they can do Wednesdays and Thursdays. They currently close at 9 PM, but closing at 6 PM and reopening for a four hour event makes sense economicly.

As it happens I saw Joey Toshiba in Tomorrowland just last week. Joey is the OM or Director of Operations at Knott's (might even be higher, it has been awhile).

Maybe he was there to "borrow" some Tomorrowland ideas for Knott's.

Well, you know the guy who wrote and performs in the Laughingstock Co. every day has been writing the script to the hanging every year for quite some time now.

You'll see some comboys doing many of the main stage shows at haunt...
