    Crane Over the Castle

This is a picture from the HoJo Mattercam this morning. My bet is the crane is on TSI, but the angle makes it look like it's in Fantasyland. Anyone know the straight scoop?

That was wonderful! Bravo! I loved that! Ah, that was great! Well, it was pretty good. Well, it wasn't bad. Uh, there were parts of it that weren't very good though. It could have been a lot better. I didn't really like it. It was pretty terrible. It was bad. It was awful! It was terrible! Take 'em away! Boo! Boo!

It might be on the castle, for the installation of the holiday lights.

I know there is one in Magic Kingdom right now for that reason. Although Cinderella's castle is much bigger, so I'm not even sure they would need a crane for installation on Sleeping Beauty's.

Definitely not on TSI. The hook is between HoJo and Castle.

    Re: Crane Over the Castle

I've talked to some people regarding the upcoming IASW refurb and apparently there may be a crane above that show building for some time while the building is being retrofitted. I am not too sure if this will actually be happening and if it is, if this crane would appear to be seen hovering over the castle if it could be seen at all from MS.

Here's a pic of something coming out of the area. Look familiar to anyone? Or maybe it's just part of the hook.

I'm pretty sure it's a big foot-dinosaur themed loop covered in Christmas lights.

In all honesty though, it does look a bit like the top of the castle. (not the turrets)

It could have been parked on the area where the old foundation for the House of the Future is next to Ariels Grotto.

They are referring to the Howard Johnson webcam. As to where to view it I'm not sure, maybe try searching the web for the Ho(ward)Jo(hnson) near the park.

    Re: Crane Over the Castle

At the end of September we noticed the "crane" to the left( Frontierland side) of the castle & it had a sign they were doing some filming for upcoming ads( well they used wording that used happiness or dreams something like that).
