The 1964-1965 World's Fair

In the last few years of MiceChat's operations, I've yet to see any pictures or stories of "it's a small world," "The Carousel of Progress," or "Ford's Magic Skyway," and "Lincoln" online from the World's Fair. Google and all other searches have proved relatively fruitless, and I'm dying to see pictures not only of the attractions but of the buildings they were housed in and their facades. This is one of the few topics I believe hasn't really been discussed on MiceChat before, so here's a challenge to all you members out there...if you have any pictures from the fair of any of the Disney attractions of remember them for yourself, please share the wealth! Disney attractions at an event like this must have been incredible to witness, especially when Audio-Animatronic technology was really breaking through.

Thanks!

Disney printed a whole "Retrospective" with such pictures and lots of text describing things, for I wanna say the 30th anniversary of the Fair. I'll try to dig it up if someone else doesn't beat me to it. Good topic Chris.

Bump...I've yet to see any "it's a small world" pictures from the World's Fair and only one of General Electric's Progressland Pavilion. Pictures of these must exist lol.

If you search for Tower of the four winds you'll find some images of small world. there is also one at the gorillasdontblog blog, a great resource. Let your fingers do the googling

Extinct Attractions has a great DVD with not only information and videos on the Disney attractions in the fair, but other participants as well.
