My little boy loves Donald and has yet to meet him at the park.
The last few times we have visited the Duck was nowhere to be found in the park. Ran into Brer Fox though, what gives? It would make sense for Donald to be out in front of the Opera House while his movie is running there. This is my first disney related parental rant! woohoo!

Donald seems to have been largely phased out in the Eisner era. Executives don't like his temper and non-PC characteristics - - or that he can't carry a lot of dull on-the-head dialogue - so have made him just a "fool" who doesn't appear very often.
What a waste of a classic and wonderful character.
I actually walked by donald monday near the flag pole at main street. He had a longer line than mickey did over near the opera house. I thought to myself... I can't remember the last time I saw Donald.
I was more shocked at DCA that same day when I saw Prince John and the The Sheriff of Nottingham walking around the park. Havent seen those classic Robin Hood charachters meandering the park since the 1980s.
I always see Donald Duck on Main Street...by the exit of the Opera House. But I have heard many people say that they can never find him.

Saw donald on Sunday walking with the DL band into the entrance area.
If you get there when Toon Town opens (one hour after the park opens), Donald is almost always next to his boat in Toontown for photo opportunities.
Yep. A classic loveable duck who has a bad temper, 3 nephews, and falls in love with Latin American Women easily. ;) I hope he'll be around WDW though.Quote:

I got photos of him on Sunday near the Opera House, with his pal Mickey.
Here is a hint, go to the Wait Board at the Hub and ask about your favorite Character. They have a hot line and can call and get times and places to expect them. Real helpful when you are looking for a specific character.
I've seen Donald once or twice on a recent trip.
Do cast members have character info in their cast member guides?
I haven't seen Donald for at least a year. We see Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Pluto, and Mary Poppins EVERY time. It'd be nice to get a little more variety.
My last trip I saw him in the Town Square on Main Street. I have also seen him in Toon Town.
