Smile Which Of These Characters Deserves Their Own Attraction?

So here we are talking about the upcoming changes to California Adventure. We see that Goofy is getting his own attraction and that the Cars crew is getting not only their own attractions, but their own entire LAND!

With that said which Disney characters do you feel have been the most neglected? Who deserves to have their very own attraction built right away at The Disneyland Resort (or any of the Disney properties for that matter).

For me I believe without a doubt Donald Duck is the most deserving. This poor fella is always left in the dust when it comes to attractions (only getting to show off his boat), merchandise (a few pins and hats), and the like. I wish that Disney would create a solid C or D ticket ride that features all of the Duck's antics. Perhaps go through some of his most famous cartoons through a timewarp ride? What about visiting Mathmagicland? And then there is the spooky, scary cartoon with the mad gorilla that had escaped from the zoo! So much good, classic Donald stuff to work with!

Okay guys, what do you all think?

DD is a great classic character, I can see a dark ride working if designed around the escaped Goralla (Ajax was his name wasn't it?).

Donald basically has one called "Mickey's Philharmagic". It's titled Mickey, but it's really about Donald. That one does need to go in DCA. It is a pretty cute show.

But you are right. Donald does deserve more. I think the "Mathmagicland" would be a cute idea.

I would like Peg Leg Pete to get some attention somehow. I picked "others" for that reason.

Wow, I didn't know that show was more about Donald than Mickey. Ya learn something new everyday!

And yes! Mathmagicland! I mean look at the characters they can work with!

Nothing more fun than a walking pencil with eyes!

Yeah! That would be a great spooky, escapist attraction! (And yes, the gorilla's name is Ajax.)

    :sigh: I love the Duck!

Really, Mary Poppins is classic Walt Disney and should have an entire attraction devoted to it. A Mary Poppins attraction theme wise would fit into the Paradise Pier area.

I wish I select more than one....

I voted for pluto.... I would love to take a dark ride though his house and playing with mickey and chasing something.... that would be fun.

I would have voted for DD too though as well....

Ha, that's my problem too...I can think of MANY characters who should have a dark ride or other attraction!

How does mary Poppins fit in with Paradise Pier?

I'll stick to DD's Ajax Adventure!

I put other because I'd love to see an Ichabod Crane ride. That's such a fun cartoon and it would make a great dark ride. Crappy for merchandise so we'll never see it.

That would be a great ride! And don't worry about it being "crappy for merchandise." Mr. Toad has a ride and you rarely see anything for him aside from a few pins and a few sculptures.

I, too, have always said an Icabod ride would be so much fun. How great that would be to see a headless horseman!!! My favorite cartoon. :o)

I would also love to see something, anything, concerning Donald Duck. I just love him to pieces!

I would just love to see the Headless Horseman if they make a Ichabod Crane one. I really love the Headless Horseman.

Me too. It would be awesome seeing the Headless Horseman riding down the underutilized Big Thunder Trail. We're on the same page.

I chose Beauty and the Beast, it was the first Disney film to be nominated for the Best Picture academy award. It's pretty under represented at the parks. Though, I think it would be better in DLR than DCA. I know that in DCA they have Beast's Library, but that's hardly anything. Just a small part of a bigger attraction.
