I'm not even sure if they're actually doing that this fall/winter. It might of been pushed back.

I think Luke is right, there will be some significant facade work which probably won't be done during the coming three months. Except I would guess that the new Mickey's Fun Wheel queue towers will be done while the wheel is closed. I think they'll start the new facades for the games area around New Years and finish those before next summer. While there have been many rumors about Screamin' and Tritton's Carousel getting some retheming too, I don't think anyone knows much about those yet. Hopefully Baloo can confirm if this is what he's heard, and if he knows anything else. Also, there's a nice rendering of what PP will look like on MG's picture archive on the first page of this thread which shows what the games of the boardwalk and Fun Wheel area will look like, it's pretty nice.

Mmm that's actually not accurate. The original opening date for the wheel was actually february 19th. But has been pushed back a week.

I haven't heard any of this stuff has been cancelled, I think Ghostbuster is being pesimistic.

its not taking all of the area.

you still have a good chunk of land including the old fastpass area, the large orange tree planters, the bugs extended queue, the extra wide bugsland entrance, some of the other planters next to the water play area which will be gone.


i do agree that i would had rather they put Mater in one of the large empty pieces of land behind the main drag of buildings that will be built for Car Land. This way the farm could be used to extend the wharf area.

nothing has been cancelled and they are still being very optimistic of getting much of the games and store retheming done by the end of the year or at least by very early next year

Cool Baloo, that's what I thought, but maybe even a little more aggressive timeline. I guess we'll see what they put up walls around next week. That could be a hint as to what will be finished by new years.

Well, they're just so excited to be at this wonderful "new" park, they just can't contain themselves! Why have they not been to this place before? They have to run to the nearest attraction as soon as they can! Mom and Dad are just right over there (maybe out of frame), saying, "Stop running right now, or we're going home!" Don't worry.
