While I agree with you ADopey, I do think they can over do it on the "Mickey" as well as trying to make it resemble Disneyland too much. DCA is its own park and deserves to shine in its own way. Now, they should add more to it to give it that Disney Feel, but they shouldn't make it too close to Disneyland for then it would lose its identity.

I have three questions about the whole remodel of California remodel. They are the following
1st is the sign still out front and has it been reomoved, or will that not happen until 2009?
2nd is about the Maliboomer is it still there or do they plan to wait until 2009 to remove it?
3rd and final didn't disney have a charecter before Mickey, and is their any plan to them any ride after him?

I agree that too much of one thing is overdoing it but DCA has little to no references to Mickey or some of the other characters. The only Mickey is on Screamin and that will be removed.

Although the Mickey on the loop is one of the most photographed places in the resort along with the Castle and the California Letters WDI is removing it so that it does not become overwelming with another Mickey a feet yards away.

The Mickey in the Sunwheel is being added with a purpose and i think will fit in just a fine as a big Mickey planter in front of a train station

Yes the letters are still there. They are not going to be removed till construction starts on the entrance mid to late 2009.

Maliboomer is also not slated to be removed till late 2009 early 2010

I do not think there are any plans to use "Oswald" in any ride. There is a collection of its cartoons that was recently released under the Disney treasure collection. It would be cool to see references of him somewhere in the park though.

Oswald will be referenced in the park - he'll have his own Gas station right as you enter the park

Each new attraction takes a different amount of time to design and complete. This one has seen a lot of Lassiterprovements being made, like fnsv in TL.
