Details, as far as I know, on Screamin's queue re-theme are few and vague. As for the Silly Symphony Swings -- Coheteboy might be able to fill you in on that

The Silly Sympony Swings though is like this:





But themed to Mickey Mouse's 'Band Concert' with Mickey on the very top and the images of other characters on the center base. And the idea is that it'll go higher and crazier and expose more bizarre art as the tornado strikes. Or kinda like the cartoon, you know? I'm not sure if the William Tell Overture will be playing while it's going but that would be kinda cool. It will be placed on the edge of the water so you'll have the feeling that you'll fall in.

That's all I know based on what I've heard.

I hope that gives you a better idea.

Interesting. Will this attraction be simply a re-themed Orange Stinger? Or will it be a completely new ride structure?

I'm assuming that the Orange Stinger makes use of the same basic off-the-shelf swings as other carnivals so if that's the case, it will just lose the orange peel and get some new details and paint on the actual structure.

It sounds good, but I don't see why It'd go to DCA, because it seems that the "Soarin' over America" would be outfitted to make more sense out of the Florida one, since they have the exact same film as we do, and WDI dosn't want just a carbon copy of ours in EPCOT? I don't know...i'm not really that fired up on this "issue"

That sounds awesome i love that cartoon. I am just glad Disney is putting a lot of old Disney magic into it. In addition, I hope the actual ride is a lot different from Orange Stinger.

Just a thought, but couldn't you have two experiences at SOARIN?

Left side, Domestic Departures - Featuring Soarin over California

Right side, International Departures - Featuring Soarin over the World

Then you could make use of the two theaters and just load Fast Passers into both of those queues instead of giving them the right side theater all day.

Eventually the re-ridership will go down and it will keep both sides adequately busy throughout the day. In the beginning you might need a Fast Pass to see the WORLD movie though as all the 'been soarin over California, but haven't been soarin over the world' people get in a couple of rides.

i'm sorry, i know everone is talking about Soarin' Over the World (which by the way would be cool, but like pianoman said, how would that fit in with a California theme, i mean i guess they could fit it in) but Nautilus so are you joking or are they keeping everything but the elephants. Well at this point, the elephants on the sign are interfering with the new Carthay theater, so those are set to be removed. The sign will still be there, but not the elephants.

I've got to ask...
I'm going to Disneyland June 17th and DCA June 18th. We are staying over night at the Paradise Pier...will my stay be effected by the changes they are making?
