The re-theme of Screamin's queue has been a long-rumored project from way back when. Both Al Lutz and Blue Sky Disney have mentioned Screamin's queue getting some TLC -- but details on it have been vague. I haven't the foggiest. But IF they were wise, they'd be doing this in phases so that all of one area would be complete at the same time. If Mickey's Fun Wheel, Games of the Boardwalk, and Silly Symphony Swings are slated for 2009, then perhaps something would happen for Screamin' as well.

Another interesting subject is King Titon's Carousel. I haven't heard of anything for that one. Not even a make-over.

actually, it was mentioned to fix it up a little in the of the blue sky alerts, something about changing the tarp and making it more nicer.

Ok, thanks for the clarification. I didn't read the blue sky blog in its entirety since it sounded very similar to what we've all been talking about already. I'll be sure to read more carefully next time.

Well probably because it's one of the few things in Paradise Pier that doesn't really need any work done to it. They'd be smart to move it closer to the new Little Mermaid ride.

But they won't - and the Meet and Greet and fountains between the Castle and Buzz Lightyear are another way Ariel's all over the place.

The Ariel's Grotto meet 'n greet you're talking about is actually closing down. While the Disney Fairies move in there, Ariel will don her human form & temporarily move to the Princess Fantasy Faire. And then a new meet 'n greet will open for her outside her new ride in DCA.

The Millionaire building is too valuable as space for private events, which generates lots of money.

Excuse my naivete - I quite frankly don't hit up Hollywood in DCA much, but the Millionaire building is that big box between Muppets and Monster Inc, correct?

OT, but when I look on Microsoft's live maps, that building shows up as sometimes a tent-like structure with a peaked roof and sometimes as a box (differently dated images). I assume the box is the latest version. When did they rebuild it?

Yes, it is that box. It was originally built as a tent like structure, but during construction was made into a more permanent structure.

the direction of theming for the screamin queue for some reason has been very vague. i know that at somepoint it was discussed to maybe move the queue portion into s structure inside the east helix and opening up the area in front of the coaster for something else.

Then the helix was to be used for a seperate attraction with the screamin queue just being rethemed.

Have not heard much after that.



Now i am hearing that even the jelly fish attraction might stay.


Everything keeps changing everytime someone else comes up with a better idea
