I was never under the impression that the DCA version of the attraction was supposed to be a movie set. I always thought it was the real deal - that we had stepped into the actual Twilight Zone and that the Hollywood Tower Hotel was, at one time, a real, functioning Hotel. I'm not sure though - does anybody else have any information on this?

How stupid would that be! You'd have to pay like 100 bucks no matter what. BAD IDEA, sorry. and plus that goes against like ... Everything! I don't understand why anyone would want this. That just takes away from the whole experience of going to Disneyland. aren't they remodeling DCA so it can be it's own theme park????

Master Gracey, my thoughts were the same on Tower of Terror. I thought it was supposed to be a real hotel back then also.

I whole-heartedly agree. Last time I checked Disneyland was meant to be a family-oriented park. I have yet to see how alcohol is family oriented. To me it goes against what Disneyland is all about.

I say get rid of the beer garden idea and implement a good, upscale seafood restaurant along the lines of Blue Bayou.

Here a little info and a couple previously unseen concept images from the Luigi's Roamin' Tires attraction that is currently planned (but on shaky ground) for the Carsland expansion.

Instead of piloting a flying saucer, riders in the new Luigi C-ticket will steer a big-rig truck tire through tilting towers of retreads. Visitors will queue through Casa Della Tires shop where Luigi’s forklift assistant, Guido, will be busy at work.

Near the main entrance to the ride, a play area will feature a tire jungle gym, slide and kid-sized cars.
