If you have some new ideas and would like to bump that thread, I'm all for it. In some ways that was why I originally created that thread. Maybe I should add a bunch of links to other old threads that have good DCA armchair imagineering ideas, so it encompasses more of the ideas people have posted.

i have heard that the area in the north side of the bay will just get lots of landscaping and minor theming and be used for future development.

the design elements of a Narnia attraction taking over muppets are being worked on as we speak

i believe the Disney channel show will take place in the stage area or millionare building.

As for American Idol Experience coming to DCA, bite your tongue may it never happen. Besides that show is temporary even for DHS.

Re: Disney's California Adventure Project Tracker

I'm not surprised they're still going ahead with the Narnia attraction, they really want to make Narnia into a major franchise and I don't think they're going to give up yet just because of a somewhat dissappointing box office for Caspian. I don't love the idea for this location and this park, hopefully it will be a good show at least.

I also totally agree with Baloo about Idol, I hope that doesn't happen . I can't imagine it will be popular enough at WDW to make them want to clone it, so hopefully they won't.

Re: Disney's California Adventure Project Tracker

I think that most of the stuff Disney is doing to Hollywood in this phase are simple quick fixes, most of it can probably be easily replaced witch is why I don't have huge problems with what's planned..but if that's ALL they're going to do..I'll be REALLY dissapointed

Re: Disney's California Adventure Project Tracker

I'd rather have the Idol show than the Narnia one. Thing of all those hilariously horrible singers! LoL!

Re: Disney's California Adventure Project Tracker

thats just it, from the sound of it the majority of the aweful singers will be weeded out before they even present themselves on the actual show. They have to go thru two auditions held behind doors and not seen by the guests.

At the end the winner of the Idol shows is suppose to have a free pass to audition for the real Idol show without waiting in line

Re: Disney's California Adventure Project Tracker

Narnia is pretty much a done deal for the Muppets building. The only thing left is the green-light to start construction.

I would however prefer to have had The Great Muppet's Movie Ride, i've heard soo many stories of that legendary attraction. Shame it couldn't come to be.

Amen to that! Hey, are Beaker and Bunsen still at DCA? I'm looking forward to seeing them when I finally go.

Re: Disney's California Adventure Project Tracker

i kind of like this idea too

the only porblem is that it would destroy the awesome animation lobby but they could still recreate it for the smaller building an then the building in the right could contain the animation academy and art exhibit
