So wait, they never reached capacity???
They never hard closed, as far as I can tell. We were able to park hop around 4pm without trouble.

Disneyland does not release any attendance numbers. But anticipated attendance was 45000.

A lot of the day-trippers who arrived between 8 and 9:30 left because of the ONCE IN A LIFETIME LINE FROM HELL that streatched all the way up Downtown disney. But after about 10:30am, things got much better and the rest of the day was great!
Would still like to hear the actual total.

I was there on May 5th, 2005! and July 17, 2005!
CNN reported that they were at 50% capacity by 9am, for whatever that is worth.
What is full capacity for the park anyway? I thought it was about 80,000. We heard a cast member yesterday tell someone it was 145,000 though. That seemed awfully high, unless that was for both DL and DCA.

I heard they reached fulled capacity at one point. A CM told me they were expecting 80,000 and while we were at DCA in the afternoon we did talk to a group who had shown us a flyer they got when entering the resort saying that they have almost no chance at getting into Disneyland as it is being experienced to capacity. So from that, I would assume capacity was reached... I wouldn't be surprised either if it did. There were LOTS of people.. especially waiting to get in in the morning...
