Am I the only one who thinks Partners should get a mild electrical charge? Imagine the reaction of anybody going up to the statue getting a small shock.

I'm sure someone in the boat or the boat in front or behind must've said something. That is just disgusting behavior.

All teenagers or just the ones who fit the stereotype? If you're thinking all, that's pretty shallow.

Now this quote is more understanding.
Yeah I saw the peeing one too, ugh.

I just watched the video, and I all can say is that that was unbelievable. It's amazing those kids never got caught by anyone. Why wasn't there anyone paying attention to this?

It looks like they need someone to patrol inside the ride, like the way they have someone looking just before the final lift for the drop on Splash Mountain.

Re: THIS is why IASW needs security cameras

I'm...infuriated. It may have taken place a long time ago, but like another previous poster said, they still had the gall to post it up on youtube all those years later.

I never remotely behaved like that as a teenager. It's a shame that a small percentage of a certain demographic has to make things bad for everybody, and it's especially bad within opinions of teenagers. While these kids should know better, they probably did stupid things like this as small children and were never actually told the word "no" firmly by their parents, which is why this type of behavior has stayed with them.

I think that everyone should have the right to go to Disneyland...but clearly Disney needs to take more responsibility with security, and of course, parenting has, with a good percentage of the population, gone to hell. I know that if I have kids, they will know to respect everything and everyone around them...but none of us can do anything about everyone else's kids and the way other parents parent.

Ugh...I'm just so mad! I really hope that Disney installs security cameras in small world during this next big refurb.

I don't think you could be more wrong...

If you are saying that the perpetrators are not the problem AND that all parents are totally aware of all the things their kids do - then I certainly hope you never have kids.

Once a teenager leaves direct observation of a parent, behavior changes.

Even well behaved teens, the behavior with peers is different than when observed by their parents - however slight or severe. Parents have no way of knowing what stupid actions their kids take until after the fact. Hopefully it's not when the parent must identify the remains at the morgue.

Sure there are SOME parents out there who just don't give a hoot what their teens do - but they are a minority. Not EVERY PARENT with teens would support or condone such behavior.

At some point - an individual must be held accountable for their bad decisions and behavior - without their parents being the reason or excuse for it.

Parental control may be vast - but it is not absolute.

I do agree with you that the individual needs to take responsibility, but if you're raised to respect certain things from the get-go and mommy tells you no, you can't walk all over her, it does make a drastic difference in the individual child's-to adult's-behavior.

What I see today, in the vast majority, are little kids running around, screaming, hitting each other or violating another's personal space, and the parent ignores them. Ignoring them isn't going to fix the problem. You may not be giving the child the benefit of attention, but they're still getting away with whatever they're doing! For example, I was standing in line for PotC, and I had a mother, her daughter, and another female adult standing behind me. While mom and buddy are yacking their heads off, the little one, who I'd estimate to be around 3-5 years old, was consistently head-butting me into my rear end! She must have done it at least 5 times before her mother finally noticed what her child was doing and actually took action.

I constantly see little ones running off, away from their parents, and it takes a while for the parents to even notice. Sometimes it's just silly, and other times it's rather dangerous for the child. I was in Tarzan's Treehouse, way up high, right before the stairs to start going back down. Those steps are very narrow and can prove to be a hazard for not very cautious little ones. Well, two adult women had two children with them-they were focused on taking a picture of
one of them, while the other went running straight for the stairs. I tried to call out to them, but of course they paid no attention, so I myself ran after the little girl who was about to topple down the stairs. By the time I caught her, finally one of the women had noticed and hurried over and thanked me.

There's just a serious lack of care, of acknowledgment, that the child is even there sometimes. And there is a domino effect because of that.

For doing that stuff at Disneyland??? That's just to much of a harsh punishment. No one should have to die a painful death for any reason what so ever.

Haha oh come on... can't you see I'm just kidding? I mean.. I'm serious in how wrong I think it is but I only say "painful death" to get the message across. Nobody would quote me if I said "those kids need to be minorly injured".
