![]() | Re: Disneyland on Thanksgiving Nothing too special or out of the ordinary. The Disneyland Hotel has a buffet during most of the afternoon and evening. Other than that, BE PREPARED for the human crunch factor! There will be lots and lots of people (and even more on top of that) Thanksgiving day so make sure you plan your day ahead!

![]() | Re: Disneyland on Thanksgiving Not everyone has good family to spend holidays with. We will be there Christmas day this year because our holiday season is a joke when it comes to family. |

![]() | Re: Disneyland on Thanksgiving That's what we used to think (around 1985) but after a couple of years more and more people started showing up so by 1990 we went back to staring at each other over the table. Has anyone ever been to DL at Christmas? Is there much of a crowd Christmas day? |

![]() | Re: Disneyland on Thanksgiving Yeah, would've thought people were going to be at home. We're planning on going there first thing in the morning and leaving around 12 to spend Thanksgiving with family who happen to live 5 minutes away from DL resort. It will the very first day we redeem our "Deluxe Annual Passes". Thanks for the heads up with the crowds. Makes me a little nervous but I don't care, I'm going anyway and taking it slow (I guess I'd have to!) |

![]() | Re: Disneyland on Thanksgiving Quote:
What if they don't have any family? Or maybe they just want to do something other than sitting at home and eating the turkey (or any other food of their choice). For the past five years, our family has been at the Resort each Thanksgiving, and we enjoy our meal at the Buffet in the DL Hotel's Grand Ballroom. As with ANY holiday family meal, it doesn't matter if you are at home or away, as long as you are spending it with the folks you love, that's all that matters. The location doesn't matter. The folks that you share the time with does. Enjoy! | |

![]() | Re: Disneyland on Thanksgiving DH and I will be there. We don't have family in the area and we both have to work on "Black Friday" so we can't travel to the family. It is too ordinary to just have a holiday dinner at home just the two of us, so we go to Disneyland and enjoy the holiday spirit there. Yes, TONS of people, but that is fine. We are eating at Hook's Pointe this year. |
