How about a battery extender? Nice little devices that use either a 9v battery or a couple of AA batteries. That way you could just use available batteries and not worry about running out of charge. They are available for most cell phones. Beats plugging in and waiting.

Energizer has one, and you can get it from Target right down the street from the Resort. If you have a USB charger for your phone, I would suggest something like the Swiss Gear Portable Battery Charger for iPod from Geeks.com. Despite the fact that the packaging says it's for the iPod, I think it's a pretty safe bet to assume it'd charge any device that can be charged via USB. Or, I suppose you could build one yourself if you had the knowledge, but the TSA might not like it.

I don't think I've ever actually used my cell phone at Disneyland. The only reason I would is if our party ever split up, but we never do. If your battery is dying that quickly, get a new battery/phone as soon as possible. Batteries that die like that are getting close to the point of leaking. In the meantime, I suggest a mobile charger like this one:

Our revels now are ended. These our actors, As I foretold you, were all spirits and Are melted into air, into thin air: And, like the baseless fabric of this vision, The cloud-capp'd towers, the gorgeous palaces, The solemn temples, the great globe itself, Yea, all which it inherit, shall dissolve And, like this insubstantial pageant faded, Leave not a rack behind. We are such stuff As dreams are made on, and our little life Is rounded with a sleep. mycroft16 on Twitter

You can get pretty reasonably priced batteries on eBay. I've gotten backup batteries for my last two phones on there that were probably less-than-half the cost that you would pay in a store.

I just can't imagine waiting for it to charge up in the park. It's not like you can just leave it somewhere to charge either. When you're phone isn't lasting a day, it's really time for a new battery.
