What's going on in the parking structure?

I was at the resort Tuesday 11/6 and saw that they had temp walls up on the 2nd and 3rd levels of the Mickey & Friends structure where it meets the loading area. Does anyone know what they're doing? I was parked in Pinochio so I didn't get a chance to see up there other than the walls.

Do you mean where the characters are painted on the wall next to the escalators? If so, they're probably repainting the characters since they were painted in Halloween garb and now need to be repainted for Christmas.

In keeping with Disney naming conventions Shouldn't the structure be referred to As "Pixar's CARS at the Disneyland Parking Terrace presented by Chevron"?

They're not broken. They turn them off to get people to move faster when it's busy.

Actually you take the guest shuttle from the parking terrace but you have to travel through the outer lobby before you get to the pizza.

Hoew come everytime they turn off the escalators, they put up the "Caution" barricades up and tell them to use the stairs? I don't get it. How does it make people move faster?
