Not getting anything on the 17th Question!

Here is my question to everyone who was say: They did nothing for disneyland, nothing, all they did was cupcakes and mouse ears...

This annoys me so much, when you go to someones birthday, they don't give you stuff, you give them stuff.

It's quite greedy to say, they did nothing, when really they did alot, they made over 100,000 cupcakes, made custom maps, new souveneirs, they opened the park to the public in the 17th, for the fans, the guests, not media, not family and friends, for the public. Why should you get stuff? Your in disneyland, It's been my dream to go to disneyland forever, only time and last time I was there was March 2001, I miss it, but I can't go, but the people who do go just complain cause they didn't get ANYTHING on DISNEYLAND's BIRTHDAYS. This really just makes me sad, people all around the world dream to go to disneyland, but the people who do complain cause they can't get their greasy little hands on gifts given by disneyland!

Why should anyone have gotten anything? Give me one good reason why anyone should have gotten a gift, instead of giving one to disneyland, instead of maybe complementing disneyland on that day. I know not everyone complained, some of you were greatful just to be there! But why? Why complain!

Isn't Christmas supposed to be Jesus Christ's birthday yet everyone is concerned about what they are going to get gift-wise?

There are people who planned on this vcacation around that date... (and knew it would be extra special....)

However i did not get the extra murch.. only ears.. map and a cupcake.. (i would not wait in the 5 hour line knowing by the time i got there everything is sold out..)

It was a day to celebrate DL's existance.. it is over the first hill...

I didn't expect to get anything for free from WDC since they are so cheap (as opposed to OLC giving away commemorative pins, fasteners, and coins on special days almost monthly at TDR), but the free ears were nice and the cupcakes deeeelicious. So I will appreciate it for what it was.

I agree completely! I was more than happy with my mouse ears and cupcake! I was even quite thrilled over the inside of the park map frankly. I was just there to enjoy the day and pay my respects to the magic, I would have been just as happy not getting anything. Disneyland gives in itself on any day of the year as far as I'm concerned. I don't get too wrapped up in the corporate blah blah blah.
