Wine Country Trattoria

We're thinking of dining here. What do you think of the food/service/ambience?

Took my wife and my parents there and we loved it. We each had a different lasagna and a different wine and they were all delicious at a fairly reasonable price.

Food is very good and reasonably priced. Ambiance is very nice (at least on the terrace - haven't been inside). Service was unremarkable, coupled with a LOOOOOONG wait to get a table. Still, I would recommend it as one of the better places to eat at either park, all factors considered.

Re: Wine Country Trattoria

Our favorite waitress in the whole resort works here. Most of our experiences at the Trattoria have been exceptional. The wait can be quite long, so get there early or make a reservation.

They don't have a big menu. This is a very simple establishment with salads, soups, and sandwiches.

Re: Wine Country Trattoria

You should definitely do Priority Seating for the Trat. It isn't a reservation, its more like a FastPass.

Call the Disney Dine Line:
"Priority Seating requests can be made up to 60 days in advance by calling
714-781-DINE (3463) from 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM Pacific Time, 7 days a week."

Call the number and choose Option 4

Re: Wine Country Trattoria

We ate our first meal there this last trip. We loved it. The food was excellent and the service was wonderful. The ambiance is very nice. Feels very informal and relaxed. Our favorite part though was waiting in the outside terrace for them to open up for lunch. It was so peaceful in that spot. Was just great to relax on a bench in the sun with the smell of cooking.

This is great advice. My husband and I went for my birthday. (Plus we had to introduce the baby to the DCA he'll never remember.) At the podium we were told that they were full for the day and not taking walk-ups (with an almost empty patio.) We walked over to the wine bar, got a glass and sat to enjoy it. Then we called the Dine Line at got priority seatings at 250pm. It was 145pm.

Lesson learned? Always use the Dine Line! You would think that as a Foods CM I would have thought of this, but we so rarely eat at table service that it never occurred to us.

Good food/service/ambiance. But the portions aren't that big IMO, but I'd go back for sure.

Re: Wine Country Trattoria

The patio seating is great, the food is quite good, and the spread they bring for the bread sticks is very tasty! Service has been a little on the slow side each of the three times we've eaten there. We've constantly had to ask for water refills and it took about twenty minutes to get a second basket of bread. Our food came right out, though. I'd recommend calling Disney Dining for a PS, that will help reduce any wait time for a table. I timed our PS to coincide with Block Party Bash and this was definitely NOT worth the trouble as the floats just zip past. The wine seems pricey at $7.50 for a small glass, but I'm not a wine drinker. On the other hand, the Samuel Adams was great.

Re: Wine Country Trattoria

Oh, my Sister and I love this place. The food is always good and the wait staff is REALLY friendly and helpful. They always give you a GREAT wine pairing with your food. It's a great place to eat. Worth the wait time - though I've had several times where there was almost no wait at all - so it just really depends on when you go.
