I want a freak show

I was watching a show on A&E about the old time Freak Shows of carnivals and sea side amusement parks. Although I know it is not PC, and not Disney still AT ALL....it would be neat to have an old fashion freak show on Paradise Pier.

For those of you that go to Knott's Halloween Haunt, most years they have 'The Freak Show' with Zomora. He swallows swords, eats fire, sticks pins through his face. Too bad Disney couldn't come up with a 'family-ized' side show. Maybe sword swallowing, contortionist, Kung Fu style acrobats (remember the Mulan parade?). Something with live performers that can do stunts or amazing feats. Maybe the two headed baby in a jar....... Ok...maybe that is pushing the Freak factor.

I don't know...I just thought the TV program was interesting about how important this was the the boardwalk and how awesome the poster art was for these things. Just seems if Disney could write a G Rated one, and pitch it as a turn of the century side show..."With Wonders from All Four Corners of the World!", might make for some interesting live entertainment.

I think this is a great idea for a new animatronics show at DCA.

Maybe freaky in the innocent way the Haunted Mansion is scary?

Just to test the waters for the freak show maybe Disney could first hire real dwarfs to play the 7.
