We got ours today! November 23 seemed awfully early but since it was one of the original days posted we headed out just in case. We got there at about noon and the lady at the candy store said they would be making a third and final round for the day and to come back in an hour or so. We did and were the second group in line. We were lucky enough to be able to see a lot of the actual production from the line. The price has gone up $2 from last year making them a whopping $10 each. We were in line for about an hour. They told us they usually get around 45 canes out in each batch. They got 47 in our round. They were still warm when we purchased them. They are beautiful!
I intend that they will have them the week we are there the 10th through the 16th! PLEASE! Glad you got them! And thanks for the price update so I can plan on that bill!

This is what AVP at MousePlanet's forum wrote yesterday for the schedule:
"According to the candy shop, the Candy Canes will be made as follows:
Friday, November 23 Saturday, December 8
Friday, December 14
Saturday, December 22
The first batch will be available about 1 hour after park opening, the 2nd between Noon and 1. No decision has been made about limits."
So I have no idea which one is correct.
I have one that I bought for decoration back in 2004. I still have it and love it. When I bought it the CM was bummed that I was buying it for decoration and not to eat. I was hoping to get one this year for eating. Looks like by any of the dates that have been listed that that won't be happening for us this year. Yip, mine measures 13 1/2 inches long before it curves over to the cane part. And it did cost me $8.
I found out yesterday that the above dates are correct. I went directly to the Candy Palace to find out more info. Get there early if you want your candy cane.
