A new all-day parade called "Strollers & Tourists" should be fun.

the claimed soft opening for this parade on March 10th sounds kinda weird. For one, it before a private screening, and two, its on a weekday. There is a private screening of it on Marth 14th for CMs and media. I cant figure out what time it starts but im assuming its around 12:00PM or 1:00PM. I will be there, gonna pick up my tickets today

    Re: Pixar Play Parade

How can there be a private screening on March 14th when that's the day it debuts and the park would be wide open at that point? They could do it twice in a day but that doesn't solve the park being open part

yup, 10AM. it says to meet at the C of California Adventure and will be escorted to a seating area. Im guessing they decided to more the parade to an earlier time.

Given the park opens at 10am, and the first "official" public performance is at 5:15pm, I'm very interested to see how this will all work.

    Re: Pixar Play Parade

Most likely they will run the parade early for the media and other guests in a certain area along the parade route, probably Sunshine Plaza. That area may be the only area with the full parade going, music, bubbles or water and all. The rest of the route the parade may go by silently. This is similar to how they did it for the media when the Electrical Parade "returned." (The parade was dark [no lights on at all] for part of the route until it got to the media.) Then the official first showing will be at 5:15 for the guests.

They are asking CMs to be background audience for the media during the parade and will probably fill in any more spots, if needed, with regular guests who may be hanging around.
