    suggestions for anniversary?

I need some suggestions on what to do at DL for our anniversary. I'm more familiar with WDW and could scare up some plans if we were going there, but it looks like we'll be in CA for this Anniversary, and I"m cool with that.

It will be in mid June, and we have two kids (4 adn 2) whom I'm hoping to pawn off on the inlaws for one evening.

We don't drink alcohol, so what do you suggest?

Dining waterside at the Blue Bayou is lovely. Call for priority seating sixty days in advance.
Pause and make a special anniversary wish at Snow White's Wishing Well.
Stop at the entrance to the Castle and while Jimminy Cricket sings, tell her that she made your dreams come true.
Snuggle in the back seat of your favorite Fantasyland ride.
Be sure to stay for the fireworks and watch from in front of the Castle if they're showing while you're there.

you can go around and ride the rides. Or just walk around. Thats usually what people do at DL.

If she doesn't want to do Blue Bayou, I'd suggest trying to get reservations at Napa Rose. It's quite nice. It may look like a wine place, and it is, but the food is good.

I'd suggest doing some romantical type rides. Storybook land at night. (request a private boat). If there isn't a long line they will sometimes do it for you. Also make sure you get a Happy Anniversary button.

I am assuming you are coming from Colorado? If you both decide to have a family day at Disneyland during the day and your Anniversary Dinner outside the park..there are numerous places near or at the beach that might be a romantic setting for those that don't see the ocean toooo much.

It depends if you both want to have the dinner in the resort or not.

I can only think of the Bayou as the only sit and serve location in DL that might offer a romantic setting....

    or

Have you thought about NAPA ROSE at the Grand Californian?

Haven't thought about it yet, but it looks like I will! We watn to stay in the park...we like the rides too much to keep them out of it.

Plus, my wife (for soem crzy reason) hates the ocean.

The Vineyard Room in DCA is another sit down dining site. If you time it right, you can watch the parade from upstairs.

The next nicest restaurant in DL proper would be Cafe Orleans. I'd try that one.
    Good morning, son
    In twenty years from now
Maybe we'll both sit down and have a few beers
And I can tell you 'bout today
And how I picked you up and everything changed
    It was pain
    Sunny days and rain
I knew you'd feel the same things...

    NAPA ROSE!!!

My boyfriend and I went for Valentine's Day (not the actual day but counted it as) and fell in love, and we've decided that we'll be doing that every year from now on. The food is excellent. We didn't need to drink alcohol to enjoy the place (neither of us are 21 yet). But it's such a romantic, relaxing and very nice place. Absolutely fantastic-the perfect place to celebrate an anniversary.

The anniversary buttons are cute, too. Just go to City Hall and ask for them, they're free.

I know they have these at Disney World, but if you want to be cute, you can pretend that you just got married again and get the wedding Minnie and Mickey ears.

Take her for a late night stroll in Ariel's Grotto in Disneyland, do a bunch of the Fantasyland rides-Storybook at night, it's lovely-and especially Peter Pan. It may be the shortest ride ever, but sailing through the stars is wonderful

Maybe even ask for your own boat (if you can manage, maybe try doing this late at night when the crowds have thinned out) for Pirates of the Caribbean. It's a nice snuggle-up ride.
