Re: Disneyland Secrets, Stories & Magic DVD

I've purchased a few of the past TREASURE TIN releases as well as the VAULT DISNEY Dvds and have never been disappointed of how they've been put together.

This is definitely NOT a repackage. The 3 Wonderful World of Color episodes are worth the purchase for me.

The following link (I believe) has some screens shots of the menus...

Personally, I'd be up for buying the entirety of the Walt Disney hosted episodes of the anthology series.

Sorry if this is off-topic but i was wondering if the Disney Treasures - Your Host Walt Disney is any good. I saw it at the park and thought about buying it, but i wasn't sure if it was any good. I am a big fan of the Disneyland Tv show and all of the bits with Walt (going over pirates, Louis Armstrong on the Mark Twain et al) but i don't want to buy something that doesn't include the stuff i want. I bought the Tomorrowland DVD and was disappointed with what it had on it.

If anyone who owns the "Your Host Walt Disney" dvd would be so kind to give a recommendation or a little info on it, i would be most pleased!

"Your Host Walt Disney" is probably my favorite of the titles that I own from the Treasures series. I can't recall everything that is on there right now, and a couple of them are available on other DVD's, but I don't think I had seen the fourth anniversary show before, or the thing with the leprachauns. I would highly recommend it.

Doh! I wanted to order both, and for some reason, POTC came up as Dec 11th as well. Those sneaky devils. Ah well. At least I'll save on shipping.

    Here is a review....http://www.ultimatedisney.com/yourhostwaltdisney.html

    Re: Louis Armstrong and pirates....
One song of his while on the Mark Twain and a pirates segment hosted by Walt is on the DISNEY TREASURES - "Disneyland" Tin. Louis is in the DISNEYLAND AFTER DARK section of one of the discs.

Re: Disneyland Secrets, Stories & Magic DVD

I have this on back order at Amazon for over a year. It was first delayed, then delayed again and finally I was told that it may never come out by Amazon. Then it showed up a few months ago again and I pre-ordered it right away. After reading that wonderful review, thank you so much DL_CRAZE, I now know I must have this set. I think it looks to be even better now that they have had time to take away the 50th fluff and just show us the real Disneyland. I can hardly wait for this one.

Got that and Lost Season 3 on preorder now (come out the same day).

Oh, and I ordered something for my mom too. Gotta justify the Christmas gift.
