wow the castle looks even more nicer when it rains especially the snow on the top.

Love the TR so far-especially those merged shots!
FYI, all the horses that I've known actually enjoy standing out in the rain, and with the opportunity to go inside their stalls for shelter, opt not to. A lot of them hate being given actual showers, though![]()
Take me to Neverland...
Nice photos. It's always nice to see an out-of-the ordinary look at Disneyland.
It poured rain when I was at Disneyland in October 2004. We came out of It's A Small World when it first started. Naturally, we weren't expecting it, and naturally we sat in the rain for a few minutes waiting to reach the unload area lol.
Fortunately, it was still warm, and it didn't rain constantly. It was off and on. Not sure how fun it would be to have a perpetual downpour at Disneyland. The non-existant lines were of course the best part.
I always make sure to carry a change of socks to the parks now when it rains. I find there's nothing worse than wet feet all day long.
I remember being at Universal and being absolutely drenched. They gave out hot chocolate which was a nice touch. I was so wet, I decided to play in the still-running water play area, just for the heck of it. I wasn't going to get any wetter after all.
This is a really nice trip report of Disneyland in the rain. Nice color shots!
This is the first rain for like a year that could actually be called RAIN. Not just drizzles at night or a misty morning-rain! I would have gone if I could have and when at was at home watching the rain, I thought of DL.
My favorite trip to DL ever was in the rain, when there were no people whatsoever and all of the cast members in DCA joked that the rides were water rides, and there was a warning on California Screamin' that the rain hurt on curves, and did it! It felt like needles. But it was fun anyway, and no lines!
Nice so far! Too bad for the rainy day, but like you said, it can create more vibrant colors in the pictures.
Cool Trip Report! I can't believe I was there too. To me, it seemed annoying at first, but I can understand with the drought here, the rain was welcome, and it did make everything seem clean and fresh.
Great pics, rain looks great especially with lights on during the ay
(Part IV - NOS and Critter Country and...precipitation)
NOS looked particularly nice with all of the decorations, and, of course, the rain:
Apparently, the drainage around the area isn't the best:
Not much business at the Cafe Orleans on a day like today:
The many trees are still changing out here in California...
Did I mention it wasn't very crowded? This was taken just before 10 AM:
No action on the rafts. I guess they leave TSI closed until after the rain lets up?
On the Columbia, they use tarps to keep the water from collecting down below...
Critter Country wasn't exactly bustling:
I mentioned earlier how the steam from the Mark Twain would linger:
More guests seeking shelter under the deck of the Hungry Bear:
Even in Critter Country, the lamp posts are decorated:
If you have a poncho, Splash Mountain should be a no brainer:
And yet, I noticed several logs coming out empty. Not much of a line for this today at all. As I was taking shots, a large tour group passed by. Ponchos on this ride would be a great idea. But...umbrellas?
I left this shot a bit larger. I used no saturation on the green of these ferns and these types of colors were typical throughout the park:

That was great! I thoroughly enjoyed that photo trip. Thanks so much!
Those shots of foilage look great expecailly the ferns
Very nice photos! Very good TR!
Rain makes it nice for getting shots of things that you can normally not see for all the people. But rain and DL do not mix for me anymore.![]()
Looks like you had a great time though!

Boom!
I don't ask for much... Just a few little things!
Extra effort yields extraordinary results!
I love Disneyland in the rain. I was dieing to go to Disneyland on Friday, just because it was raining. I know the chances of it raining on Tuesday is slim, but one can hope, right?
