    Question Blue Bayou Price?

How much does a usual meal at Blue Bayou cost?
    Because I'm going tomorrow!

Pricey, but worth it. Never EVER have had a bad meal or bad service there. And the prime rib is melt-in-your mouth to die for!

wish you could have gone when I did. bad service. bad food. not the way i remember it. Book a reservation for my wife's birthday. Had to wait over 1 1/2 after the reservation time. Sat RIGHT next to the kitchen door. Chair was bumped by wait staff for the entire meal. Didn't get the birthday cake I was supposed to. And sub par food.

    BUT.......

Every OTHER aspect of the trip was sooooooo good. It didn't really matter.

Wish I could say the same.

You may just live once, but the Blue Bayou is there every
    trip to DL.

You might want to go there once on a SPECIAL occassion,
just for the ambiance, which is great, if your not sitting next
to the busboy station, or the service entrance on either side
    of the restaurant.

You want to be seated closer to the bayou side, or right
by the water. If you sit closer to the entrance, the light
during the day is way too visible.

I have to say, Blue Bayou IS over priced for what you get. It used to be a real somewhat affordable treat. Now it is just outrageous in cost compared to what you get. Go to WDW and have a dining experience there at one of the really fine restaurants. You will pay about the same for better food, service and atmosphere.

I remember going there for the first time in 2000 thinking, "Hey, these prices are really reasonable, I wonder why everyone says this place is so expensive." My prime rib was a little over $20 back then. I don't know what Disney is thinking raising prices to such astronomical levels, but it makes 7 years ago feel like a lifetime...it was before everyone had a half-million dollars in home equity. Heaven help Disney if the recession hits hard, because no one is going to feel like paying $20 for just a simple sandwich if it does.

I had become a "never going there again" person after they raised the prices.

Went the day after Thanksgiving and was very happy with the food. You do get a lot of food.

The server could have told us he was going to lunch instead of leaving us without service.

    Would I go back. YES!

yes it is expensive, but this type on menu usually is. A Cask N Cleaver Filet Mingnon is 29.95, and their Prime Rib is 26.95. And that is just a steak house. Blue Bayou is an expensive restaurant, but they are serving expensive food. Bayou isn't that more than a quality steakhouse, but it has a much better view.

Lunch prices used to be semi-reasonable, but no more.
