    The One Hour Shopping Pass

So apparently today, I went to DL for the one hour shopping pass. I wanted to see if they have the Stitch I wanted, but unfortunately, they didn't. So, as I was exiting the park, I realized that I lost the ticket that they gave to me.

I must of dropped it somewhere, so I had to pay for it. I had 20 minutes left over so they suggested that I go back inside the park and find it. The problem was since I exited the park, they wouldn't let me back inside without the ticket. It sucks that is $66 down the drain. It just made me so made and there is nothing that can be done. The last CM that I talked to didn't help me much at all.

Why did they make you pay if you were leaving the park?

You give them a credit card number as a deposit and if you don't come back within the hour time, you get charged. The pass probably had a time stamp on it.

Call your credit card company and you might be able to dispute the charge.

the ticket may be timed stamped. If you're over an hour you are charged admission anyway. Without the ticket maybe they have no proof of how long he was in the park. Yes, that does suck!

It does suck! They needed the ticket, without it, how would they know.

Exclamation Re: The One Hour Shopping Pass

The ticket is just like any other ticket, they are exactly like cash.

Just one of those "learn the hard way" type things. It's not the fault of Disney, nor should the credit card company or Disney have to pay for anything. Can't anyone take responsibilty for what they do? I love it that one of the first posts is "DISPUTE THE CHARGE!"- no, he lost the ticket, no one else did.

Actually I don't think they really "get ya!" for anything. It's a system in place to stop people from cheating and staying in the park all day for free. If you lose the ticket, it's the price you have to pay. Same goes for Downtown Disney parking, if you misplace the ticket you'd have to pay the max. parking price/full day parking.

Go to the bank and tell them you dropped $20 on the ground somewhere and see if they replace it for you.

Shouldn't they have a record of when the ticket was issued to him and if so then they can verify his credit card by seeing his I.D.? That's messed up...

I agree, they should keep track with the credit card. The ticket shouldn't matter, unless, they keep a record of how many guests use the shopping pass.

Also, they only give them out from 8am to 5pm....which sucks for people like me who tried to get one so I could go into the park and watch the fireworks, hehe....
