Some souvenirs from the Candlelight Procession

My friend and I had AP dining reservations for tonight's Candlelight Procession. It was absolutely amazing. First we had lunch at the Napa Rose. Wonderful food and service. Issaac from Anaheim was our server. Kudos to him for a wonderful time. Here is the menu:

Here is the ticket for the event:

We got to sit on the very front row of the silver section. Jane Seymour did a magnificent job as narrator. Although getting tickets was a bit of a mess, I would highly recommend this experience to anyone.

Very cool! Glad you had a good time. We are at the D* Hotel tonight and saw the crowd waiting to be seated this evening. Looked like it was going to be a lot of fun, although there sure were a lot of people!

Wow amazing food, only once have I been to a place with a menu like that.

How much was the ticket, out of curiosity?

I'm so excited. I'm going to tomorrow's 5:30 show. Glad to hear you enjoyed it! I won't be doing dinner (CM tickets don't come with it), but it looks like it must have been delicious!

Re: Some souvenirs from the Candlelight Procession

Next year. Maybe I'll call three people and have them try to get through with me. I had actually clicked on "check out" and.....nothin.

Glad you had fun. I would think the later show would have been COOOOLD! After my concert tonight, we were FREEZING as temps dipped into the mid 40's.

Do the club 33 people still get blankets? I remember seeing blankets back in the old days.

Wow, that's amazing. What's the process for getting tickets? And how much were they? I'd like to do this next year.

Re: Some souvenirs from the Candlelight Procession

I have the Yamabuki menu. It was our last choice but we were just really happy to get tickets at all! We took my parents for Christmas and they were blown away by the whole presentation and are now Jane Seymour fans :P We sat in the front row at 5:30 too! I wonder if we were near each other. We were sitting between the conductor and Jane Seymour. I wonder if Napa Rose had a different menu for Sat and Sun since your menu says Sat, Dec 1. Ours doesn't have a date, just 2007.

Yamabuki

Candlelight 2007

First Course (everyone got both, and they replaced my raw sushi with cooked sushi since I'm pregnant. Our waitress was awesome and very understanding!)

Edamame: Fresh Warm Soy Bean Pods, Dusted with Sea Salt
Assorted Individual Sushi: Ahi, Ebi, Spicy Tuna roll, Cucumber-Avocado roll and California Crab roll

Second Course

Shiro Miso Soup: Traditional Japanese White Miso soup with Tofu, seaweed and scallions

OR

Yamabuki Garden Salad: Tender Baby Asian green salad with shaved Japanese cucumber tossed in a light lemon-sushi vinaigrette

Third Course

Gyu Rosa Yaki: Teriyaki Grilled New York, accompanied by Vegetables of the Season and Steamed rice

OR

Waka-Dori: Teriyaki Grilled Breast of Chicken with Asparagus and layered with Japanese Woodland Mushrooms and Steamed rice

OR

Sake-no Teriyaki: Richly Glazed Salmon glazed with our house Teriyaki Sauce, accompanied by Vegetables of the Season and Steamed rice

Dessert

Green Tea Creme Brulee with Candied Ginger Ice Cream
