Subs Evac on Saturday, Dec. 1!

Did anyone else see the subs being evacuated on Saturday, Dec. 1? We were in line for the Matterhorn and I saw the rubber raft was in the lagoon, pulled up next to a sub that was stopped in the middle. There were two cast members in the raft, one to assist guests out of the sub and into the raft, two guests at a time, and the other to paddle the raft back to the dock.

I stayed in line and sent the Boy Wonder over to take pics. I'll upload them tonight.

So, superhero, did you get out of line to help, or just call Aquaman?

You are correct, Mr. Swab, water rescues are Aquaman's territory. I contemplated hovering over the area in my invisible jet, but didn't want to distract the rescuers with the view they would have had of me.

They really need some sort of pneumatic system where they can just stuff a big tube into the hatches and suck the guests out and back to the dock.

LOL! Aquaman is powerful with the help of real fish. Plastic and computer animated fish don't respond.

I am sure you could have used your Golden Lasso or whatever it is to help rescue those poor guests.....

Perhaps the Silver Surfer could have frozen the lagoon to allow the people to walk out?

Fartman could of held on to the back of the sub and hovercrafted it gently back to port.

Seriously though, isn't there a way that they can just tie a rope to the sub and drag it back to the dock without having to go through all of that?

Ha, We've had to do that type of an evac once before and I amazed pictures didn't show up from that one! And to the person who wanted to be evacuated in the caverns, we've only had to do that once ... so don't count on it!
