Crowds on Christmas Day?

Anyone been to DLR on Christmas day? I can't imagine the crowds being too much, but then again....

My family wants to go to DLR after presents Christmas morning, but we are wondering if any MCers have been there and can shed some light on how bad it gets.

Christmas Day is usually crazy, but manageable. You just have to go in knowing that you're going to be waiting in longer than usual lines for almost everything. I've been to Disneyland on Christmas Day for the last 4 years in a row and have always had fun regardless of the crowds.

Christmas is the opposite of Thanksgiving. It gets busier later, whereas Thanksgiving is busy in the morning only.

I was there last year all day, I found it to be busy, but really pleasant. People seemed to be in an extra friendly mood. Have a great time.

Don't be surprized if we have to close the gates to new entries, either. I have heard that from the 22nd on, we will be at or near capacity in the park every day until after the new year, which would limit entry into the park if you wait too long to get there.

I've heard it's very busy. I know 12/27 is insanely busy and I was told the 25th is worse.

How about switching things up...go to DL for breakfast and some rides, then return home for a mellow family Christmas of gifts and food!

Xmas day is traditionally one of the busiest days of the year. There have been many years when the park has reached capacity on this Holiday/

We usually go the 23rd through the 27th, and Christmas day is the craziest of the four days.

I would get there early to avoid them shutting the gates to new admissions.

We are there every year. We will get to the park about 11 and spend most of the day. It gets busy, often there are turnstile closures. It will be shoulder to shoulder, but the people are generally in a good mood. Eat during off times or have reservations.
