Improve the snowfall in the Hub

The snowfall on Main Street and the East Hub looks fantastic, to be sure, but it's lacking throughout the rest of the Hub.
An idea, and perhaps they've done this before, place snow machines on the outside of the hub, and add some blue PAR cans there to light it up. It would certainly be better than having it snow in the dark in the Hub.
    Yeah?

It would be great, yet you have to think about the liability of people tripping and slipping on melted snow. As it is I'm surprised I haven't heard much about people slipping on that soapy snow that they currently have.

That's because it isn't your normal "soap". It's a very dry material, technically soap, but it's so dry that it shouldn't really cause any slippage.

I believe it is an alcohol and or glycerine derivative. I'm not so sure I am a fan of the "snow". I know I don't care for the music they play during the "snowfall"; its kinda draggy and down. The machines on the Frontierland and Adventureland side of the hub were not working last Saturday night.

Disneyland is using a Stage snow and you can not slip.

Yeah, over by POTC the 'snow' comes down real thick there. We were wondering about why nobody was falling down since it was all over the place. We *tried* to slip on it but couldn't.

But it does have a springtime fresh scent to it........

I think "White Christmas" fits perfect the way it is now. I wouldn't want some fast 'upbeat' song playing with snow falling.

But to each his own I guess.

Re: Improve the snowfall in the Hub

I remember, a couple of years ago, when I saw a big blob of soap fall on two people.
Yeah, a light snowfall is just fine. For me, it's the visual, not the being covered in it. Cause once you're covered, you realize exactly what it is, and eeeww.
