I just found a great article about Dick Cook that ROBONICS95 posted in the Disney Business forum (http://www.micechat.com/forums/showt...ise-83396.html), and I thought the story might interest the Disneyland forum, particularly.
In the article, Cook demonstrates his Disneyesque judiciousness by mentioning, among other things, that he approved a specific increase in the budget for "Enchanted" because he believed the added scene would markedly improve the quality and earnings potential of the film. That kind of commitment to preserving and enhancing the goodwill of the Disney trademark is precisely what Parks & Resorts has been lacking. So, from Dick Cook to Jay Rasulo, the message is: Do it right. Or, don't do it at all.
