And... This was the 70s... that WAS a song..
There's more footage of the hot air balloon, which was from Around the World in 80 Days, in the anthology episode "Holidaytime at Disneyland", which I just recently rewatched. It was identified as being part of an Easter celebration at Disneyland. I don't think that it had It's a Small World graphics on it, just the ones on it for the movie.
Great to finally see the film with sound. I've had a silent version of it since it first came out.
A great link. Interesting to me was at about the 7:15 mark, the narrator refers to "guests and employees". I wonder why they didn't instead use the familar "cast members"? It sounds odd when he says it.

Calling them Cast Members is relatively recent. Before that they were called hosts and hostesses.
