Different Castle Lighting

So December 2nd I was at the park pretty late and noticed they had some different (brighter) lighting on the castle! It looked like they were getting ready to film something as they had a camera on a boom up by the castle. I actually really liked the way the castle looked so here are a few photos

First here's a few of how it's normally lit





and here is what it looked like








So the only difference was really the bottom half being more white light instead of purple. Not that different but still sort of interesting.

I'd need to see both in person to really develop a solid opinion, but I definitely like aspects of both...

looks like they changed the lighting a bit. but it's hard to tell from just pictures.. i'd need to see it in person...

It was just really bright and white light... No pretty purple and blue gels! Think big work lights beaming on the castle It was kinda cool

No gels on that castle, all LED lighting and dicrohic glass filters in the color changers out front, the Exterior 200s and Exterior 600s.

That it is. For the sake of repeating myself later and/or have to say this later, just for those that might want to know. The lighting on the actual castle itself consists of:

ColorKinetics CB12s (ColorBlast 12s)
ColorKinetics CC 14s (ColorCast 14s)
Diversitronic Finger Strobes

Currently for the snow lighting:
LED lighting strands
New Generation LED strobes.

Around the outside of the castle and in the hub:

In the boxes:
Vari-Lite VL3000 Spots (used to be Martin MAC 2000 Profiles) in EchoDomes.

Around the mote:
Martin Exterior 600s in the trees on poles
Martin Exterior 200s next to the boxes
Birket Systems SC-001QD Strobes (Strobe-Briks)

Really? Look at the normal dark, purplish lighting on the lower half and compare it to the brighter, less purplish lighting in the later pictures.
