Again, I support the original intent of Indy, and it is still a fantastic attraction. But it does have it's weak points, too (not that any attraction doesn't). The bug, rat and skeleton room have always bothered me in how fake they look-compared to the rest of the attraction, you'd think that someone cut out some ideas for a Fantasyland dark ride and them threw them into Indy. Splash doesn't have any "cheap" sections IMO-audio animatronics everywhere! Flowing music! Bright colors! It's fun. And it bothers me so much that poor Mara has had a white gum wad stuck to his face in the Chamber of Destiny for at least half a year now! My stomach turns every time. I thought CMs walk the tracks to all attractions at the end of the night-why hasn't anyone taken care of it? I understood the wads in the HM stretch room, as those were high up-but this one on Mara? Good heavens! I honestly don't understand why you dislike Splash Mountain so much, though-yes I've read your thoughts on how WRE could go there instead (and I am by no means against having that ride built-I think it would be a serious upgrade to any park), but what about the attraction itself? Perhaps I should PM you about this instead... P.S. - Nemo by no means surpasses the original Submarine Voyage, IMO. I'd take the plastic fish pasted to the "coral" over what we have now any day. | |
