What Time Should DCA and Disneyland Close?

Since I have heard so many complaints about DCA closing early on weekends, what time do you believe DCA and Disneyland should shut its gate on the same night? Feel free to vote once for Disneyland and once for DCA. Remember, DL and DCA cannot close at the same time.

    I choose 11 for DCA.

For as much as it doesnt have to offer, it looks good at night.

Re: What Time Should DCA and Disneyland Close?

The two parks can not close at the same time, as the transportation network is insufficient to handle the crowds generated by one park closing, let alone two at the same time.

That leaves you with two options. Either DCA closes before Disneyland, or it closes after. On nights when Disneyland is opened until 12am, is it really worth it to close DCA at 2am?

Of course you could always close Disneyland at 9pm and keep DCA open until 12am.

I personally believe DL should close at 1 AM and DCA should close at 11 PM on peak days.

I agree with this. DCA is definitely beautiful at night and an 11pm closing woudl be good during peak times. I think in any situation, Disneyland needs to be open 2 hours after DCA closes in order to get traffic back to that park.

    A little piece of heaven

You have "12pm" as a choice, I don't want Disneyland to close at noon!

    12am works though.

    Peak Season:
    Disneyland hours: 8am to midnight
DCA hours: 12pm (that's noon) to 1am or 2am (make it a pleasure island type atmosphere at night)

    Non Peak Season:
    Disneyland: 9am to 9pm
DCA: 2pm to 10pm (again, pleasure island)

    REALLY Non Peak Season:
    Disneyland: 10am to 6pm
    DCA: 4pm to 10pm

You see where I'm going with this ... DCA looks better at night. And got's booze.

Same here. I always need an extra hour at DL.

Wouldn't it be great to watch the fireworks, stay in DCA for the last hour it's open, and then still have two hours in DL?

    Extra hour for Disneyland.

DCA doesn't need any more time. Disney is wasting money by keeping it open late in it's current state. Once the park has gotten it's serious upgrading, however...it should be open as late as Disneyland.

Disneyland used to have such a great nightlife when it used to be open til 1AM and the fireworks even started a half hour earlier then too. The entertainment was really unique and was more frequent as well. Now there are a lot of pretty lights, fireworks, and Fantasmic! Other than that its not all that exciting as it once was.

I say extend the evening to 1AM again and bring back some really good entertainment options and it will be great.

If you are an AP, NO, we do not keep the park open later for you so that the APs will be the only ones in the parks.

I actually had a guest INSIST that to me one day. That DL needed to stay open an extra 2 or 3 hours so that she, as an AP, could have extra time in the park.

With the vast majority of DCA guests migrating to Disneyland when DCA closes, the "transportation network" already handles two parks worth of crowds every night after the fireworks end at Disneyland.
