| Here You Leave Today... MiceEars Crew Member   | Photo Update 12/7, 12 &14 - December in the DLR Taking a page out of Hollywood1939's book, I thought I would go a bit more eclectic and post a wider variety of shots I took during the last two weeks. These shots were taken in the rain and in the bright sunshine, but on all three days I was looking for angles, colors and details that I haven't noticed before. Here then is a hodge podge of shots of the DLR in December: Starting with a few shots down Mainstreet:     Down at the hub they were shooting a commercial using several spots last Friday: Here's a shot of the carolers...  Here's Donald being interviewed by last year's Disneyland Amabassador...  There are still several Fall colors to be found throughout the park...  I wonder if Tinkerbell is up there taking a nap. She DOES live up there...right?  Or maybe she hangs out with the white rabbit...  I took this from in front of Casey Jr....  The Mark Twain...   This guy creeps me out. Not sure why...   More holiday colors...       I've never really noticed these two weather vanes before. The first one is Jack wearing a hat...right? "Introducing the new medieval burger on a ciabatta bun." When did DL sneak Jack in the box into the park? Does McDonald's know about this?   If I haven't said it before...the rain really tends to bring out the colors throughout the park... How funny you took a picture of that ride but if you look at the guy in the second row it looks like he is taking your picture to.  Great photos so far can't wait to see the rest.

This guy is one of my favorite CMs in the park. He always has a smile and a wave for everyone.  "Put the umbrella down and use TWO hands? You're not serious."  "Today we will be visiting Typhoon Land..."  I love the wreaths on the omnibus. Nice touch.  And the storm clouds gather....  Another shot of the street car...  You know it's cold when the plaids are wearing their winter coats...     I like the Christmas decorations on the castle....  (More to come)

It's hard to pick a favorite, but I'm partial to the horse-drawn streetcar coming down Main Street with the Castle in the background. It's a terrific photo!  |

| Re: Photo Update 12/7, 12 &14 - December in the DLR Nice pics as usual. I noticed that the zoom shots were taken using a 200mm lens, but the EXIF also says that the focal length for a 35mm camera would be 300mm. Are you using a non-DX lens? Tell us about the lens please. |
