In a huge change in the normal schedule Dusty and had to miss the noon meet.
We told MonorailMan we would meet him at the park later on in the day after to help him celebrate his 21st birthday.
As we arrived at the resort, Dusty and I were able to score a spot in Parking lot X. It was around 3:30 and the group from the noon meet had traveled over to the newly opened Cheesecake Factory across from the park at Garden walk. Calling MonorailMan I told him we would meet him at the end of the enjoyable path.
Nothing could possibly go wrong.
Nothing at all.
Then Dusty realized he left his Iphone in the car. AAAAAAA Dusty raced back to the car as I headed to the rendezvous point to meet the newly stuffed MCers.

The group and I waited and soon enough, Dustysage, aka Speedy Gonzales, was tearing down the EP.

We all made our way back to the resort and then asked the birthday boy where he wanted to go.

Monorailman, let this be something you remember if you ever doubt how fond Al is of you. HE WENT INTO DCA BECAUSE YOU SAID SO.

The group wanted to veer over to Tower of Terror, but before we got there we decided to stop into the Animation building as some had not seen the Snow White exhibit OR the Pixar Zoetrope.
I went looking for Dusty and in the courtyard I ran into Dopey who seemed to know me. This was amazing since I never knew anyone this famous had ever heard of me. Dopey rocks!

Snow White came out and told Dopey how much she loved him. it was so cute.
Wandering the exhibit I spotted Al admiring one of his heros. Then the Prince looked kinda funny.

I found Dusty and the group migrated over to the Pixar Zoetrpoe. If you have not seen this get into this thing immediately. Your jaw WILL hit the floor.
Okay. Time for Tower.
We turned the corner and the building loomed before us almost as much as the 30 minute wait that the approx wait time bragged of.
We entered the queue and soon found that the wait was far below the posted time.
Drunkless Gestures
So our group enjoyed the ride.
Even though we were escared.
Waiting at the exit was Al and the gang. We then thought it would be a good idea to go get some wine from the Trattoria since MM was o drinking age.
Dusty bought him a Riesling (white) and I opted for a Malbec (red). Seasons of the vine was open, strangely, so we headed in, wine in hand, to enjoy the rarely open film/attraction. The CM gamely told us about the setting around us and discussed the different wines we were enjoying. After a lengthy and enjoyable discussion she opened the doors to the vineyards outside and the movie started.
Mmmmm wine.
Coming out of Seasons we heard the thunderous noise of block party bash heading our way and were quickly herded across the "performance Corridor" towards the tortilla factory. We darted in and Monorail Man got his b-day tortillas. then back across the PC towards the Grand Californian into DownTown Disney.
At Grizzly we bid farewell to the group and made our way to Brennan's Jazz Kitchen for a private little Birthday Dinner for our Monorail Man.

I had a wonderful day at the resort, even if it was a little unconventional. Happy birthday lil Monorail Man. Welcome to the world of numbing your pain with sweet, sweet booze.
